My wife and I stayed here 2 nights after several days of strenuous hiking. We had 3 soaks in the hot spring and had a couples massage. We also did a 4 hour eco tour of Ladder, one of Ted Turner’s preserves about 30 minutes away, which is 156,000 acres. The eco tour was great - very informative and very interesting. The hot springs soaks were very nice and the massages were very relaxing and helpful for our sore muscles. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was helpful and pleasant and gave us a great suggestion for a nearby lunch spot. Breakfast was a 6 out of 10 with a decent selection. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay for me and my wife and we would definitely stay here again.

Those not from NM may not always relate to the environmental and cultural experience of our state but those of us who do appreciate it truly love it! The rooms don't really need to be this pricey though - there your only paying for the Ted Turner name. I would have marked romantic, but she wasn't in that kinda mood. Oh well, I still enjoyed my stay.
What a great spot to relax while on a long drive across the country! Christy did a great job of taking care of everything for us on this stay. The food was great and the town was fun to tour. We look forward to returning to do some longer expeditions.
Christy at the front desk made us feel welcome. All of the staff were friendly and hospitable. I would definitely consider staying here again next time traveling through ToC.
If your looking for a relaxing get away with you're favorite person, look no further. Sierra grande lodge has a mineral water tap ( only on ground floor ) that pours straight into you're large tub.(im 6' and my wife is 5'2" and we still had room in there) the couples message was 10 out of 10!
I had such a great experience here. Rooms were great, bed comfy, clean, well decorated. We were able to soak for half an hour the night of our stay and the next morning before checkout, by appointment. Lovely night staff, super helpful.
We stayed here for our 5th anniversary and after a long almost 8 hour drive, we were so happy to check in, settle into the room and soak before bedtime. We were very pleased to see the hotel was in walking distance of the local grocery store and Main Street for local shopping. The staff was amazing and a great help. The room itself was so pretty and I loved the view. However, the bed was horrible. I got little to no sleep bc of the constant turning to find a comfortable spot. Breakfast consisted of a few pastries, eggs and tortillas, which was a bit dissatisfying considering I had read that the lounge area was previously a restaurant, that area of the hotel seems under utilized. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan on returning to T or C hopefully next year.
